Hi, I found this answer to your question on a review website, hope its useful. Jules
Well basically I bought this and think it is a total waste of money. I paid £99 for this item and thought it would be worth it, and would save a lot in the long run as I wouldn't need any other hair removal products.
The instructions were easy enough to follow. Just plug in the machine, turn it on and enter a security code to start (the security code was given in the instruction leaflet). You then choose the setting you feel is correct for your skin, dampen the area you wish to treat, aim and press the button on "gun" to set the laser. The laser only stays on for a few seconds so you can't go burning yourself with it it.
Easier said than done. It was unbelievably difficult to aim the laser in the right place. More often than not, I missed completely or just burnt the hair itself which left an unpleasant smell. When I did manage to catch the odd one or two there was a slight tingling sensation but not too unpleasant that I couldn't put up with it.
I found this really difficult to use, after trying in vain to work on my bikini area, all I ended up with was a stiff neck. Only one hair can be treated at a time so an area like your bikini line would take forever if it worked well. Plus hair grows in stages and more often than not, most of our hair is in the growing stage at any one time. This means you have have to keep repeating this process on the offchance you don't laser it in the growing stage (that's if you can aim into the hair follicle in the first place). The laser hair removal system is also not suitble for darker skins. It is supposed to work best on people with pale skin and darker hair (like myself) but I saw no improvement whatsoever.
Definately not worth the money as it's too time consuming and not at all effective. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you have the patients of a saint and you can work out what stage your hair is at and get a good aim. WASTE OF TIME!!!
